UK construction workforce shrinks

  Workers from the UK Construction industry are being urged to check their pay has been increased from yesterday. About 500,000 workers are covered by the Construction Industry Joint Council (CIJC) agreement and should receive a 1.5% increase. Build Center donates to hospice

Construction material supplier Build Center has donated building materials to help a Northamptonshire hospice with its fundraising target. The Lakelands Day Care Hospice in Corby hopes to raise £450,000 and the Market Harborough branch of Build Center donated plywood to the hospice that has been used to craft wheelbarrows and planters to be sold at the Lakelands Emporium in Corby town centre. ...
