How to add a Community Project

posted 15.10.2012
We literally have hundreds of charity and community projects signed up and registered to the site but not everyone has added a project on our community page.

The main objective of the communities page is to promote what you or your organisation are doing within the community so people who would like to help out or get involved can do so. In our experience people with listed projects are much more likely to have materials donated in order to help their projects progress than those without.  It also means that ReciproCity can match any of the massively discounted materials they have to your requirements.

It’s so easy to add a project to the community page;

  • First of all, log in to the Recipro website and click ‘Account Home’

  • Then scroll down and select ‘Add new Community Project’

  • Then simply add your contact details – Name, address, contact number and email address

  • You then add a short description about the project you’re involved in and the benefits of the project

  • When you know what materials you require you can add them to your ‘wishlist’ which will be visible to our thousands of users.

  • As your project progresses you can update all the information and add photographs and also thank those who have helped your project with time or donations

  • Make sure to go back and update your list of materials regularly

It’s really as simple as that! If you have any problems adding a projects page please email us at info@recipro-uk.comor call 0844 225 3000, there will always be a member of the team eager to help! Alternatively just check  out some of the project listed already such as; The MeadowCroft AppealCommunity Photography & Media Training Studio or St. Dunstan's School Allotment are all great examples of project pages.
