Comfort zone is the homeless project that is supported by, and operates out of our church buildings at north shore methodist church in Blackpool. We are located in one of the poorest areas outside of London. The church itself struggles to afford supplies to keep our beautiful, grade 2 listed building in the manner to which she should be!! We are in a difficult position at present where the building needs more than we can afford, the electrics desperately need upgrading, the stonework needs attention, the internal plasterwork is crumbling and the kitchen and toilets need upgrading. In addition; to meet the needs of the 21st century community we really need to remove the gf pews and level the floor, to make a more versatile space for general use and therefore generate revenue. The church buildings are currently home to groups as varied as the homeless and needy, the elderly, the chinese community, families, LGBT community, luncheon club for the over 60`s, jobs clubs, work skills courses, disabled and rehabilitation of offenders through voluntary work. We NEED help, can you help us? God bless you and your business and thank you for reading.
