Community RePaint Wirral redistributes its 2000th litre of paint (in just three months)

posted 13.11.2013
paintRecipro is delighted to announce that our Community RePaint scheme on Wirral has reached yet another milestone, this time it?s a whopping 2000 litres of paint redistributed. All this has been achieved in just three months since introducing the range of paint to our existing construction material supply back in August.  That?s enough paint to cover approximately quarter of a million square feet of wall.

We would like to thank all those who have supported the centre; we have been able to help hundreds of local individuals as well as community projects. Don?t worry though because there is still loads more paint available at the same low prices!

Community Repaint is a national scheme made up of approximately 70 members operating paint redistribution operations. The key outcomes of the project are to reduce the amount of paint going to landfill and also to help those who cannot afford to buy new paint by supplying affordable paint.

We are delighted to have achieved yet another major milestone and we look forward to sharing more success news in the near future. We have estimated that Community Repaint Wirral has saved local individuals and community projects in the region of £8k, not to mention a whopping 12.70 tonnes of embodied carbon (Inventory of Carbon and Energy (ICE)).

If you have not already been yet then why not pop down, we are open Monday ? Friday from 8am until 4.30pm. You can find all the details here.

We have also just launched a new Community RePaint outlet in London ? please click the link for details.

We look forward to seeing you soon!
