The Recipro Team are once again embarking upon a charity challenge, following the success of last years Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. Les, Mike, Beckie, Paul and Brendon will be walking the Sandstone Trail to raise money for the Construction Youth Trust, a charity which is close to our hearts and our business.

As a company Recipro are committed to diverting surplus building materials away from landfill and recycling streams and instead making sure they?re reused and redistributed into construction colleges, charities and community projects. So, raising money for a charity that works with young people to help them access employment opportunities in the construction industry was a perfect fit!

Construction Youth Trust supports young people whose journey to work can be challenging due to barriers relating to their financial circumstances, lack of awareness of opportunities, low self-esteem, gender or ethnicity. If you would like to learn more about the amazing work they do visit the website.

The Recipro Challenge this year is the Sandstone Trail which stretches for 34 miles/55 kilometres across the pleasant English county of Cheshire ? from the ancient market town of Frodsham on the broad Mersey estuary, in the north, to Georgian Whitchurch in rural north Shropshire, in the south. Although not as hilly as the event last year (Yorkshire Three Peaks), we will still be climbing a total ascent of approximately 4500 feet.

We appreciate all donations of any size; you can donate by visiting our ?BT My-donate? site, the link is below, thanks!
